Viewegh Custom Homes

Building a home with Viewegh is part science, part art, and part plain hard work. As one of the last handmade products available to us each home is unique in the same way that an oil painting by a landscape artist is unique. The artist can stand in the same place and paint the same panorama using identical colors and the same size canvas as for a previous work. Yet in the end, every painting has a personality distinctly its own.

BUILDING CUSTOM HOMES THE V-WAY!

What is it like to build a custom home with Viewegh Crafted Homes? Our customers, Patrick and Danielle can tell you. Take a video tour of the beautiful custom home we built for them.

"Joe was the first builder we met with after we decided to build a new home. He was so open and honest with us that we felt like we needed to look no further. We were in contact with him almost daily and he always had the time to discuss any questions we had. Plus, he kept the job on schedule. Joe is a quality builder who has surrounded himself with quality subcontractors who all stand behind their work. We're very proud of our Viewegh built home
— Mandy (and Phil) Keller
"You know, we’ve talked to a lot of people who built homes with someone else who say they would never want to do it again. But my wife and I, we’re of the opposite opinion. For two people who really didn’t know very much about the process going in, Joe made it easy for us. I just can’t have enough good things to say about our experience.
— Scott (and Lisa) Beier
"And when Joe started to advise me, I knew that I was on the right path. The single biggest one probably was the way we were going to build the main staircase—and Joe knows this well. Another builder recommended a subcontractor who would build this monster staircase off-site and then bring it in. And Joe said, “Why don't we use the method of using the front porch as a cantilever and build it just traditionally framed on site. That’s why I wanted Joe. Because Joe’s going to build the house, not his A, B, or C project manager. I don’t see myself ever building anything without Joe.
— Christian (and Amie) Browning
"So like the built-ins in our dining room nook. They were a last-minute add-on. I just found this picture and said, “Can you do this?” and he said, “yes.” Joe would give us realistic ideas of how to do things we had envisioned and what it would cost so we could decide what we wanted to spend our money on. If you have a vision of what you want, he is very good at executing it.
— Laura (and Josh) Martin
"We would build another house with them in an instant. Our experience was that good. Using his skill and knowledge, Joe took our vision and improved it. We felt like our project was a priority and Joe was always accessible to us. He was also patient with our questions and concerns, from picking a building site to finding ways to maximize the space in our plan. We know we have a quality built home.
— Bob and Natalie Hipple
"I don’t know. It just seems more personal with Joe. It’s like some of the builders have gotten so big they almost seem like small corporations. You know—I’m talking with their assistant, and then I’m talking with his assistant. I like that I can pick up the phone and call Joe, and he answers.
— Chris (and Sam) Cavenaugh
"Joe and Evan were awesome about throwing out ideas. Joe really wants you to like what you have. So it was a real collaboration. Building a custom house is a process. You’re not going to get a 90-day house, but it is so worth it!
— Becky (and Chris) Langan
